What an innovative idea! The Hermit Crab Toy Seesaw is attractive, in a sturdy brown plastic that looks good in one's crabatat. The hexagonal shape cutouts in the see-saw ramp is a wonderful design for crabby claws. The seesaw ramp has a curved bottom that fits into a bottom stand. You need to be careful not to get sand between the two. My experience is that the stand tends to move around too easily as the crabs crawl around it. If you sink it into the substrate you lose some of the potential angle for movement. It would have been helpful if there were some pegs you could attach to sink into the substrate. I sunk some small flat shells around the base to steady it.Our crabs did not choose to play on the seesaw during the test period. When place on it, they just crawled off of it. In the long run it remains to be seen if this is something that the crabs will enjoy. I will update this review if they start playing with it.

This toy seesaw for my hermit crabs is so much fun!It's incredibly easy to put together, clean, and maintain. It's the perfect size for any hermit crab! It's fully functional too. I love the textured bottom, so that my hermit crabs can walk safely across it without sliding.I have a really giant hermit crab and this seesaw is nice and sturdy. It feels well-made, durable, and strong. Lucky Critter is by far the best brand that I've found so far, when it comes to fun and functional pieces for my hermit crab tank.Worth every penny, this product gets five stars from me! I love it, and so do all of my hermit crabs. I can't wait to add more Lucky Critter pieces to our tank!
