Introducing the Hermit Crab Underground Tunnel Cave! This hermit crab toy gives crabs a fun new place to climb, explore, burrow, and hideout.
The design makes for a great addition to any hermit crab habitat by not taking extra room and adding another level to the hermit crabs environment. While being a fun place for hermit crabs to climb and play on it also is a great place for them to retreat underneath. Hermit Crabs are naturally curious and need places to explore and hide.
The Hermit Crab Underground Tunnel Cave will fulfill this need by adding enrichment to the hermit crab tank! The design allows for a great viewing experience as when a hermit crab is underneath you can view inside from the open corners. The hermit crab hide is made with safe plastic and will not cause harm to hermit crabs.

This underground tunnel is so much fun!The design is well-made and it feels strong, sturdy and durable. I love the natural color of it too. It blends in nicely with all the other things in my tank.I really like how it sits up against the glass, so that I can watch what my hermit crabs are up to, without it stressing them out.Even though the sides are steep, the design makes it easy for hermit crabs of all sizes to climb up and down. I have a pretty active and extremely large hermit crab that can move about the tunnel with ease.In my opinion, this product is worth every penny. I'm very happy with it and the company Lucky Critter. Quality and affordable products!!A fun and unique piece that improves my tank, and my hermit crabs love to interact with, gets five stars from me!
This underground tunnel is a nicely designed addition to a hermit crab enclosure. It feels sturdy in hand and well made overall. Although the plastic isnโt thick, it doesnโt feel flimsy or brittle and holds its shape well once placed in the habitat. The ramps are fairly steep, but the textured hexagon pattern provides natural grip and works almost like built-in steps, making it easier for crabs to climb in and out. One thing to note is that sand or substrate can collect in those grooves, so it may need occasional rinsing. The top section includes a small overhang that initially looks minimal, but itโs thoughtfully shaped to allow the crab to emerge comfortably without its shell catching underneath.A feature I really like is the open side of the tunnel. Being able to place it directly against the enclosure wall makes it much easier to observe the crab while itโs inside, which adds to both functionality and enjoyment.Overall, this tunnel performs exactly as intended. Itโs lightweight, simple to install, and durable enough for regular use. The climbing texture and open viewing side make it a practical and well-designed hideout that works well in a hermit crab habitat. Good value for quality.
This underground hermit crab tunnel feels solid and well-built. The plastic material, while thin, feels durable. The ramps are rather steep, but the hexagonal pattern offers a built-in design that functions similarly to stairs. However, it is easy for debris to become lodged in these indents. The top of the tunnels has a small roof-like area that may seem to provide little coverage at first, but it offers substantial room for the crab to exit without its body or shell becoming lodged beneath the roof. I also appreciate that the tunnel has one wall missing so that it can be positioned against the enclosure for easy viewing.Overall, this tunnel met my expectations. It has a durable construction, is lightweight, and easy to install in the enclosure. The hexagonal design makes climbing easier, and the missing wall on the side allows for easy viewing.
